I’m Steve Herro, founder of Kairos Learning Design, where I bring over 30 years of experience in education, course design, and communication to help people build learning that actually works.

I spent most of my career as a college professor, teaching communication and designing curriculum well before I ever heard the term instructional designer. Over time, I became the person who built the courses others taught—someone who knew how to combine structure, clarity, and empathy into learning experiences that support real progress.
